Ross Iannoccaro

Ross Iannoccaro is one of the UK 's most respected, versatile and well rounded teachers. In December 2005 Ross was promoted to 7th Dan and given the title of Kyoshi Koden Enshin Ryu by Soke Fumon Tanaka.

 

In 1980 he formed his own Ju Jutsu association "Tai Jutsu Kai" which has produced many talented Jujutsuka as well as British and World champions. In 1990 he formed the National Ju Jutsu Kumite Council and dedicated it to the promotion of sport Ju Jutsu. His format for the Kumite has become the most successful and widely accepted sporting format ever to be devised for Ju Jutsu practitioners.

Having trained in Japan he maintained his traditional roots being the only representative of Soke Fumon Tanaka, 19 th Grand Master, Kukishin Ryu BuJutsu.

 
In April 2000 Ross launched Grapple & Strike, the full fighting mixed martial arts showcase. Grapple & Strike invites fighters from all styles to try their skills on the mat in an event that many would call the complete fighting challenge .

With seven successful competitions under its belt, it has proved that mat fighting can provide as much glamour and excitement as ring or cage fighting.
