This is with whom it all began for Jeffet. For many years Jeffet the only female student trained with the lads and Lloyd at the Redditch Abbey Stadium KUGB Karate club at the time. She was the first to achieve her black belt in the club when she graded in Yorkshire under Andy Sherry. She was one of the first people in her home town of Redditch to achieve their first dan.

Lloyd said he was honoured when he was asked by Jeffet to participate in the event he also said “I coming and I'm bringing Ronnie Canning with me.”
